SINS AND FLOWERS

 

 

A darkened room,

Or perhaps your life’s doom.

A bleak face, a provoked sadness,

Desolate, in despair and distress.

An occasional broken tear,   

Trying to relinquish all the fear. 

A misunderstood purpose,

The world claims reality and you are in a hiatus.

 A general indifference,

Your words–all dismissed as nonsense. 

Immature are all your thought,

For they know not the battles you’ve fought.

For you, your life’s mundane,

For them, you’re just another bane.

 

 A lump of gluttony chokes your throat,

In the river of sins, your body’s afloat.

A voice trying to reach out,

But the orb’s burden suppresses the shout.

There’s little hope;

And yet,

There’s a ray through the crevices,

Trying it’s best to sneak out.

Trying to tell the world,

What you are:

A heart with a hole,

And still a flower in thy soul

Hi people! How are you doing? Just happen to be on a break from exams. Thanx to CBSE for scheduling a week long holiday between Chemistry and Mathematics exam! HA HA!
